In Prospection reports where time series analysis is used (e.g. Patients on Treatment and Medication Counts), the horizontal axis of the chart represents a timeline. In these reports you can change the date range visible in the chart by:
- Selecting a pre-existing date range (date range filter)
- Entering a custom date range (date range filter)
- Interactive zooming (zoom feature)
Interactive zooming
The interactive zoom feature allows you to view a subset of the selected date range (date range filter) in the chart. You can zoom in to see larger, detailed views of the visualization by using the zoom controls that appear below the chart.
To zoom in on a time period within the defined date range (date range filter), drag the handles in from the left and/or the right to isolate the data you need.
The chart is dynamic, so you can immediately view the data. The handles remain in the positions you left them, so the scope of the initial date range remains evident. Reset the handles to the original position to view the complete date range.
